Join Peyton Gosser of Inner Child, Higher Self for a heart-centered intention-setting experience A sound bath is a calming, meditative experience where you rest comfortably while being surrounded by soothing sounds and vibrations from instruments like Alchemy crystal singing bowls and Koshi chimes.
There's nothing you need to do during a sound bath except slow down and receive. The intention is to help your body relax, quiet the mind, and give your nervous system a chance to rest. Many people leave feeling calmer, lighter, and more grounded.
Meet Joy, a 26-year veteran of the United States Air Force and a dedicated student of sound healing. Joy first encountered the power of sound while on her second military tour to the Pentagon in Washington D.C. In an environment defined by constant alertness and stress, she discovered that certain sounds and vibrations could quiet her mind and bring her body back to a state of rest, even briefly. That moment planted a seed that would grow into Sanctuary 8.
She is currently completing her Level 2 sound healing certification with mentor Kayce Laine--professional sound healer and musician based out of Nashville, and through the Sound Healing Academy. In her free time, she plays bass guitar and is completing professional training through the Berklee School of Music.
Her intention is to create gentle, safe spaces where you can simply be, to rest, receive, soften, and reconnect with yourself.
