Nourished: Yin Yoga & The Earth Element

As the intensity of summer begins to soften, this grounding yin yoga practice invites us to reconnect with the stabilizing energies of the earth element. Through long-held postures, breath awareness, and mindful rest, we will explore the stomach and spleen meridians — energetic pathways associated with nourishment, digestion, grounding, and emotional balance.

In Five Element Theory, the earth element supports steadiness, compassion, and centered presence while helping to ease patterns of worry, rumination, and overthinking. This 90-minute practice is designed to cultivate a sense of inner support and quiet resilience as we transition toward a new season.

Mindful modifications will be offered throughout so the practice remains accessible to students of all levels of interest and ability. The session will conclude with meditation and deep relaxation.
