Kim McPhail
HI! I’m Kim. I am a physical therapist of 26+ years recently specializing in women’s (pelvic) health, retired athletic trainer and recently a 200-hour certified yoga instructor. I’ve been practicing yoga for about 8 years and as many, came to yoga for the exercise. What I have discovered is I have gained so much more! Yoga is a part of my daily life in the way I make time for my spiritual growth and study, my quiet time, my stress management, my breathing and of course my strength and flexibility. Yoga has helped me to explore and try things I never would have considered before. This leads me to my newest experience with yoga. I have been adding it into my PT practice for some time and exposing my patients to bits and pieces of yoga, thus introducing yoga to many who may not otherwise experience it. It was also during my recent yoga teacher training, with all the inner focus, meditation and introspection, I decided to start my own private Physical Therapy practice, focusing mostly on women’s pelvic health and combining it with my yoga experience and knowledge.
I little more about me. I’m married to my husband of almost 34 years, Thomas. We have three adult children, 2 daughters-in-law and 3 grandchildren. We also have a rescue COVID dog and 2 grand dogs. We like to spend time with family and friends and exploring and spending time outdoors.
